Need a touch of patriotic spirit in your home? This flag wall quilt is just the thing for your room decor. It could be hung vertically or horizontally.

This small flag is from a fabric panel and I have quilted this wall hanging or table topper by stitching a wavy line in the horizontal cream stripes. I also did a stippling stitch around the stars. The red and cream stripes are calico fabrics. They may vary from flag to flag and may be different from the flag above; however, they are the same color tone red and cream. See enlarged picture for detail.

The wall quilt is approximately 10 x 6 1/2 inches. I have added a sleeve on the back of the flag so that it could be hung horizontally.

This flag could also be used as a mug rug.

This little patriotic wall quilt would make a wonderful hostess gift as you celebrate the holidays with your friends. It would also be a nice gift for someone in an extended care facility or a nursing home. It is small and would not take up much space.
