This spectacular necklace was made when Salvador Teran, formerly with Taxco Silver, was with the Marbel Store in Mexico City in the 50's and 60's.
His pieces featured ceramic faces and 22 K gold plating over metal. They are all unique and very collectible.
This one is in great condition except for the back of the mask where it is signed-you can see the plating is worn off over "Mexico" and that there is a mark on the ceramic. Other than that it is gorgeous! I read that these go for around $400.00 and up in perfect condition!

The chain measures 18" long and has a stunning Aztec motif with a clasp in the back. The articulated pendant measures 4 3/8" high by 1 5/8" across.
