I like to imagine the possibilities...

A singular polymer clay "cell" drops from a sterling silver wire.

The polymer clay is white; I used acrylic paint to distress it after curing and then heat set the acrylic for a permanent, grey, gritty finish.

The "cells" are hollow and therefore amazingly lightweight.

The circles are 16mm (5/8") wide and the total length from top to bottom is 42mm (1 5/8") . Please see the last photo that shows the earring on a model.

"As one gets older one sees many more paths that could be taken. Artists sense within their own work that kind of swelling of possibilities, which may seem a freedom or a confusion."
- Jasper Johns
