This hand thrown vase was fired twice in an atmospheric soda kiln to 2350 degrees. It was painted with porcelain slips and has a green glaze on the interior. As you turn this vase you can see how the atmospheric firing creates different effects with the slip painted surface and because it was fired twice it has some dramatic drippy areas depending on how it was hit by the soda.
