This is a 3-piece mold glass fishing float that I personally beachcombed along the coast of the Aleutians in Alaska. This float has been exposed to the elements such as sand, wind & the salty ocean water for years. The float is made from recycled glass & is at least 40 years old. It is a seafoam green color & is about 3.2" in diameter, or similar to the size of a baseball. It is nice & frosty from being exposed to the elements. This float also shows the great dappling effect, which happens with these types of floats, from being made in a hand-carved wooden mold. The mark on the sides were simply used to match the wooden molds together during the manufacturing process. The sideways 4 mark is rather uncommon.

This float spent years traveling the ocean currents until the surf tossed it onto a desolate beach where I was lucky enough to find it!

Glass fishing floats are ideal for home/beach/nautical decor, outdoor decor & ponds, and they make unique recycled gifts!

All of the floats I sell were once actual working fishing floats. I don't sell reproduction or contemporary floats, or those meant for the gift trade.

NEW SHIPPING POLICY: Due to the increase in international shipping charges, I will gladly send any boxes under 4 pounds via first-class mail. It is much less expensive, but will take quite a bit longer to receive. If you would like your floats sent this way, please message me or make a note when you make your purchase. I will refund the difference in shipping charges.

For example, I just sent a single 3" float to the UK. Priority was $28. First-class mail was just under $10.
