This is a stunning, classic 1950s necklace by Margot de Taxco! Featuring seventeen interlocking bow segments with a tongue-and-groove clasp, this piece is signed "Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico", and numbered "5330", dating it back to the early 1950s. In addition to being in excellent, original condition, the necklace includes the original pouch it was purchased in! This is easily one of Margot de Taxco's most timeless designs, yet it's also very evocative of the time it was made. The necklace measures 13.5" in length.

Don't miss out on a rare opportunity to own a necklace designed by one of the foremost silver artists of her time - and at an incredible price!

Condition: Excellent - a lovely, original patina.

It matches beautifully with our Margot de Taxco bow pin, as show in this listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/101979154/1950s-margot-de-taxco-sterling-silver
