"A Problem and A Solution" is the title of this assembled mixed media work -- approximately 8" x 10" -- which features the figure of a human sandwiched between a vintage page from an Union Pacific time table and a page from the Rubaiyet by Omar Khayam. A shell casing hangs in balance from old clock cogs on a broken thread while two shell casings stack next to each other by the figure's feet. Strips of cast away wood are painted with bees wax, resin and alcohol dyes to complete the composition and pin the figure to "the Problem." I enjoy my work.

The work is signed and wired on the back, ready to hang. No need for additional framing.
Shipping within the United States is complementary and at a minimal cost elsewhere.
