This vintage rotary telephone from Western Electric is known as a 302 model or the "Lucy Phone". Has been tested to call out and receive calls, has a fantastic ring. Nicknamed the "lucy phone" because of its common appearance on the I Love Lucy show.

This phone is in beautiful shape. Its been so long since Ive come across one that really shined and worked! They never seem to ring! Took a bit of rewiring , but its fully functional! I even was able to add an adapter to the original cord so it can attach to any regular modular phone cord. Its ready to go right out of the box. The dial card is also an original with a HEmlock 1 2043 number, HOWEVER its not original to this particular phone. Its just not a reprint of any kind, and has its own special value. Definitely hold on to it if you ever plan to resell. (just a tip :)

As far as scuffs and dings, there just arent many to speak of. The thermoplastic body is still very shiny and I waxed and polished it to bring out even more shine. Its beautiful. The back side has a few little tiny white dots I believe to be paint. But the are only on the back, and not many. The red numbers are slightly faded, which is to be expected. The fingerwheel is black metal (not plastic).

The phone has several matching internal dates of 1949.

Please email me any questions you have,

As always******************* PLEASE be sure a rotary phone will work on your landline. Especially if you use a digital phone service. (voip, vonage, etc) You are likely to loose certain features of the phone such as ringing. There are adapters if you are determined to have one! I dont blame you :)
But know that digital phones and pulse phones dont generally play well together.
