After cutting out my one size wraps I'm left with mounds of wool scraps in odd sizes and shapes. I can't bear to throw them away, so I save them up in boxes until I get tired of looking at them and then round up a friend and we sit and turn them into sized shorties and longies.

These are often slightly odd because of the scraps, so PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS! Because these are simply a way to use up my scraps I'm pleased to offer them at very inexpensive prices so that everyone can try wool - nature's most amazing diaper cover! In order to keep these as affordable as possible I will NOT be listing a bunch of specs in each listing. Instead you can see the measurements on the picture for each item. I will ONLY change the listings for special info about some (damage or problem, specialty fiber, etc.)

Material: Midweight lambswool.

Woolie Sizing

Newborn (approx. 5-12 lbs)*
Small (approx. 10-18 lbs)*
Medium (approx. 16-24 lbs)*
Large (approx. 22-30 lbs)*
L/XL (approx. 26-35+ lbs)*
X-Large (approx. 35+ lbs)*

* Weight ranges listed are approximate – because babies come in all shapes and sizes, these are meant to be guides only. If you are unsure or if your child is at the end of one size range I would recommend you get the next size up. That being said, Woolies tend to be forgiving, stretching to hug a variety of curves and shapes comfortably.

Wool diaper covers have been around for hundreds of years and are a great, renewable, and healthy alternative to plastic or PUL diaper covers. Wool breathes keeping baby cool and dry and preventing diaper rash. When cared for properly (occasional lanolizing and gentle washing) it is a great moisture barrier as well since it is able to absorb up to 40% of its weight in water before feeling wet. Wool is also naturally flame retardant and anti-bacterial - amazing stuff!
