More can be read about Pippa Tree Art Nouveau Garlands here:

This is a truly spectacular, genuine, original antique pure silver Jugendstil / Art Nouveau Victorian era German wedding tiara and groom's corsage / boutonniere, circa 1900. Presented in what appears to be the original wooden box.

It is intricately hand-crafted from 800 European silver. The total weight of the silver is 31 grams. The diameter of the tiara is 15 cm. The length of the groom's corsage is 8.5 cm.

The flowers are myrtle flowers, long associated with the Greek goddess Aphrodite, love and immortality. It is also the Hebrew symbol of marriage. Garlands of myrtle flowers have been worn in weddings at least since ancient Roman times. Popular in the medieval era, the Victorians really loved the myrtle flower and also loved to wear garlands of myrtle at their weddings. The Art Nouveau movement embraced the myrtle flower.

Words really can't do this piece justice. It is just stunning. It is something truly beautiful and rare, suitable for a rare wedding. It reminds me of something an Elven Princess and her Prince would wear. It is honestly one of the most beautiful and magical things I've ever seen. This is an heirloom to keep and treasure in the family for generations to come.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have about this rare and amazing item.

The piece has been professionally cleaned by a jeweler and appears in perfect condition. It will be sent by registered mail, with a tracking number.
