Hi this is Morphia , a lovely Ruphiaus Scarabaeus* specimen.
Rarely seen, each Ruphiaus has different, multi-colored patterns on their wings and bodies. This unique appearance, can make it difficult to identify them as members of the same family. They are identified by a square patch on their underside, in which appears to be the letters RAP. They were discovered by Ruphia A. Peche'.

This bug was sculpted out of polymer clay. It has wire legs and antenna. The rhinestone eyes really add life to the little face.
* Ruphiaus Scarabaeus translates to Ruphia's bugs. :)

Morphia is 1.5 tall (to top of head) 2 long
