Description:
Beautiful hand-hooked textile from Uzbekistan, made in the 1960s. These were originally made as decoration for the side of baby cribs. Front is hand-hooked and the back is lined with floral Russian trade cloth, which is original to the piece. Today, this would make a beautiful runner on a table or chest of drawers, or hung on the wall as art. Would also look great framed. Textile includes red, yellow, white, grey, pink, and black yarn. Edge is finished in a light green yarn. Has the look of a kilim, but is much softer.

Measurements:
40" x 16"

Condition:
Textile is in excellent vintage condition. Colors are vibrant and there are no holes or stains. A few small loose threads here and there, but that's about it.
