Antique Primitive 1800's Vermont Farm Swingle Tree Horse Yolk Harness is a crossbar, pivoted at the middle, to which the traces of a harness are fastened for pulling a cart, carriage, plow, or other farm implements. All Handmade found in a rural 1800s farmstead in Milton Vermont. This has lovely hand forged iron parts, all intact and very rare to find in this condition. This is for one horse. These are called Whippletree, Singletree, Swingletree or Horse Yoke.
Measures 37" long, with brass ends, a little red paint left.

Weathered and used with loads of character from years of farm work, forged cast iron details.
Nice for a country kitchen hanging pot's and pans, *I also have one myself for hanging pans* or use for outdoor decor, props, etc.
