I love the look of these. I've seen this style reproduced on newer clothes & accessories in expensive trendy stores. These are original though. I'm not sure of the exact date, But they were made in Japan. Japanese ceramics were popular in the 60's so I'm guessing that's when they were made. This also reflects the style of the artwork.

The bottoms read "Orchards of Hawaii" & "Japan"
They are about 51/2" tall & 2" diam.
Each has a raised picture of a hula girl dancing

Perfect for an enclosed porch, tiki themed man cave or other room, or even kitchen or dining area.
*One seems to be a little bit different. The coloring is lighter and the raised contrast doesn't seem as sharp. You can even see the difference in the print underneath. I'm not sure if this is a result of them being handmade & and no 2 being exactly the same, maybe one is older, or it may just be an imperfection.

One thing for sure, they have personality. they are technically vases, but could also be used as pencil holders or display pieces. You could probably drink out of them after you wash them well. I wouldn't chance it putting them into the dishwasher, just to be safe.
