Late 1940s to early 1950s vintage sewing pattern, mail order Sew-Rite 1270, women's dress has full skirt, scalloped neckline, scalloped short sleeves,and a scalloped edge on bodice front button closing.

The instruction sheet refers to this style as "Scalloped Charm", stating that the dress can be made in one fabric or in a variety of contrasting fabrics such as crepe with a lace yoke, or cotton with an embroidered eyelet yoke.

Pattern is factory folded, factory cut and is complete with 11 pieces, instructions are included.
This is an unprinted pattern but each pattern piece is easily identifiable with the name of the piece or letter of the alphabet in perforated letters, ie skirt front, etc.

Envelope is addressed to a customer in Kansas City,Mo. metered postage cost was one cent. Envelope has tears, tape, pencil writing and brown spots.
