Original vintage paper sewing pattern, believed from the 1910s or 1920s.

Blackmore pattern number 4150

To sew a "dressing gown".

Cut to fit a medium size, but no actual body measurements are given.

This pattern has been checked and it is believed complete. There isn't an illustration or list to show all the pieces. The pattern pieces include the front, back, collar, cuff, pocket and sleeve. BUT this pattern was still in its original folds, so is more than likely complete.

The pre-cut, non-printed pattern pieces are in very good UNUSED condition!

The instructions are printed on the back of the envelope, NOT on a separate sheet.

The envelope is worn, TORN, creased and discoloured!

Has a little slip of paper inside advertising more patterns in the Blackmore range, and the women's patterns have that distinct "pouter pigeon" chest - so I think the pattern is 1910s. Busts would have been more flattened in the 1920s, but these show the low "mono-bosoms" of earlier years.

Please be aware that the measurements I give are the absolute MAXIMUM. I hold the fabric VERY TAUT at each point.
You will need to allow a little bit of room for comfort and ease of movement.
E.G. if you have a 34 inch full bust (remember that full bust are bra back sizes are very different things!), depending on the style, you'll need you garment to measure about 36 to 38 here.

I give a approximate modern day size equivalent, but please use this as a guide only. It is much better to go by the measurements. People's size views seem to vary drastically, and as I'm sure you're very well aware, sizes vary quite a bit between shops too. So, the size guide it's really only my personal opinion, your opinion my differ.
