A terrific Lancasters sugar bowl issued to commemorate the 1937 Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth following the abdication of King Edward VIII

Lancaster & Sons Ltd manufactured earthenwares at the Dresden Works in Hanley in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries England from 1900 until 1944

It measures 2 3/4 inches tall and the top rim diameter is 3 inches

The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines and there's no sign of any crazing

It has a couple of marks, but overall is in fine fettle for the age

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
