Fresh out of a central Missouri barn comes this very primitive and worn sprinkling can. With the handle up it measures 13.5" tall X 16.5" wide.

There is a wire handle, but I don't think it is original to the piece. I think the original handle is gone and this was a make-do, though I have to say I love it like that. The top seems to be missing, too, which may explain why the original handle is missing but this makes the can even better for using as a vase for cut flowers or a floral arrangement.

The side has a substantial dent and subsequent rusting, but hey, that's what makes it primitive and delightful! The bottom of the can is sturdy.

Of course if you care to, this can will be perfect for watering your garden but I think it works wonderfully for any autumn display you have in the works. You can even paint the can with the blackboard paint and write a message on it. Fill the inside with water and cut flowers and it would be perfect for your wedding reception. Enjoy!
