This is a rare vintage book from 1960 containing all 62 art prints by Jose Guadalupe Posada. Only 1500 copies of this book were printed and this book is number 289 (inscribed on the last page by the editor, Jaled Muyaes).

The book has loose plates in covers inside a slip case. The plates are in excellent condition - only the slip case/cover is worn out and browned. The plates themselves are clean, bright and uncreased. There is a contents page that lists and names all prints.

You can choose your favorite images and frame them... These are very famous illustrations of the Mexican revolution and great examples of Mexican folk art, including Day of the Dead skeleton figures.

Size: 10" x 13" 25cm x 33

José Guadalupe Posada (1852–1913) was a Mexican cartoonist illustrator and artist whose work has influenced many Latin American artists and cartoonists because of its satirical acuteness and political engagement. (from Wikipedia)
