Short Story Long:
This thick, plush rug is a great transitional piece. It was made in the 1980s (or maybe late 70s, but who is counting?), but I believe it's color scheme and style were way before its time. The rug's open pattern makes it great for a contemporary setting, but it also has this traditional flair that would make it fit in with your home quite nicely.

The rug is an odd size, like a skinny square or fat rectangle, so if you're having trouble finding something for your place, try this on for size! Like all hand-knotted pieces, this rug is good for heavy traffic, and will last for years. This rug is in new condition, with a thick and lush pile, but the coloring of the rug is extremely faded, as though it has been used for years and years. It will look great in your study!
