This cute medium blue shirt dress has a denim look. Made by Schrader Sport Petites, probably in the 80s, the dress has short sleeves and an attached collar and open neck. It buttons up the front below the open part (starting about 5 inches down) with 5 buttons. There is a small chest pocket on the left. There is a yoke at the shoulder area, front and back, with light gathering below it in front. The sleeves are slightly puffed at the top. The cuffs and collar have thin white piping trim. Also, the cuffs and button placket area have rows of thin white stitching as trim. The sash belt also has this same trim. At the open neck area, the stitching has thicker white stitching on the back for a sort of reversible look when folded back. The dress looks and feels like linen but is probably a polyester/rayon blend - it is washable. There area some slight imperfections in the fabric for a natural look. The dress is in good condition with the following measurements:

Bust: 41 inches (at underarms)
Waist: 40 inches
Hips: 42 inches
Width at bottom: 46 inches
Sleeve length: 9 inches
Armhole length: 9 1/2 inches
Shoulder width: 14 inches per side (between sleeves)
Length: 42 1/2 inches long (measured on back from base of neck to bottom)
Belt: 51 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide

This nice dress would look great for work or casual outings. The shirtdress style has classic appeal.
