The argus C-3 camera, nicknamed "the brick" was produced by
Argus from 1939 to 1960. It's a heavy camera with attractive chrome
accents on black leatherette. This one is in very good condition and includes
a leather case, instruction booklet, close up lens with box and
very cool leather zip up film holders.

The camera's leatherette is in very good to excellent condition.
The leatherette on the back of the camera is perfect. The leatherette
on the front has one small lifting corner at the lower right edge.
The shiny metal surfaces on the back and sides and the shiny black
bottom, side and top panels are nearly perfect.
The dials on the front, bottom and top (including the film advance knob)
all show heavy surface abrasions. The shutter lever shows paint loss on it's
surface.
The shutter is working, but the camera hasn't been film tested.

There is a small close up lens with it's original box (in rough condition)
that screws onto the front of the camera lens.

The instruction booklet is in very good readable condition.
The pages are complete, however some interior pages have
come loose from their staples. The front cover has some creased
corners and light surface abrasions. The back page looks excellent
with only very minor surface abrasions.

The case is in fair to good condition. There are surface abrasions, cracking of
the surface leather on the bottom flap, a missing back snap flap
and wear on the frontispiece (the protruding part). The strap is worn
near the attachment rivets. There are several leather film holders (that
zip open and close) attached to the strap.

This is a wonderful set!

Your camera set will be carefully packed and shipped priority mail with
delivery confirmation in the US and First class mail international.
