Floor length all lace maxi dress by couture shop "Fleur de Paris" of New Orleans. Handwritten on the tag on the inside of the dress is a size S (small). Tag states nylon lace and "dry clean only". Color is cream or ivory (not white). Was photographed on a white background to show the color.

Dress is sheer lace over a full length cream colored satin camisol. Has small short flutter cap sleeves & a sweetheart neckline. There is a front lace panel that goes down 21 inches to a 2 tier ruffled bottom. In total the ruffle on the bottom is 16 inches and goes all around (360 degrees) the dress. In the front only the bottom is finished with lace "points"(see photo #4). The back of the dress is more of a plain finish and the bottom hem is straight across.

Measurements are:
chest: 36 inches
waist: 34 inches
hips: 36 inches
total length: 48 inches (to longest point on hem)

The lace has some stretch to it but the camisol does not have any give - it is made of a polyester satin. Dress (& camisol) pulls on over the head.

Dress is made by the couture shop called Fleur de Paris which is located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Most items are made for customers & they specialize in hats and dresses. It has been in business since 1980. This dress has a Fleur de Paris label. Dress is from the estate of a very wealthy & well traveled couple.

This dress would be great for a beach wedding for the bride who does not want to wear a stark white! The lace is in excellent vintage condition with no rips or stains. The camisol lining is a completely separate piece and is also in excellent condition (it may even be washable as it appears to be a synthetic fabric - not silk)
