A wonderful and beautiful piece of highly collectible McCoy majolica art pottery circa 1940.
The basket is handpainted in lovely shades of light green and brown, with a spot of red berries. In this case the artist went with a lighter hand with the brown than more common versions, and the mold is sharp, so this is a particularly nice piece. It would look great in a cottage or shabby chic or tropical or garden room setting.

Basket measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall,
7 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide.
Very nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some aging evident on the bottom only where the piece is unglazed around the McCoy mark, which you could bleach out -- but I like the patina.
