Vintage 1960s marigold orange cast iron trivet with a sunny yellow tile decorated with a wee hen, some flowers & an egg. Floating above her head is the saying, "Nothing ventured Nothing gained." Made in Japan in the 1960s by Cherry, designed by Lorrie. Whether you decide to use it as a trivet or hang on the kitchen wall, it will surely brighten up your home.

Trivet measures 9.5" x 5".

In excellent vintage condition; no chips or cracks to the tile, or scratches to the design. The paint on the cast iron is rubbed through in a few places giving it that nice, rustic, shabby vibe.
