The mug in the photo sold, but I would be happy to make one for you in 2-3 weeks. If you're okay with the delay, please add it to your cart and check out when you're ready. I'll let you know when the mug is ready for shipping!

A wonderful mug for coffee in the morning... or anytime! It feels great in the hand and it has the one-of-a kind slightly wonky look that is handmade pottery. Its design was inspired by Mexican ceramics. By the way, it's also fabulous in black and white!

I made this mug from a slab of stoneware clay. The process I used to decorate it is called sgraffito. I covered the mug in blue slip and carved away, exposing the white clay and leaving only the whimsical bunnies and their landscape in blue.

Once it everything was dry, the mug bisque fired, then covered with clear glaze and fired to nearly 2200 degrees!
