These two pendants are based on ivory pieces of schematized female figurines that exhibits full breasts on an abstract body. They were unearthed in Dolní Věstonice, Moravia and date to c. 25,000 B.C. The original museum pieces are carved from a mammoth tusk and shows the decorative motifs of parallel lines that covered many Eastern European female figures during the Upper Paleolithic period. Please note that in order to keep this piece as close to the original as possible, I did not flatten the bottom and therefore it does not stand up.

The columnar piece is 3.8 inches long and 1.8 inches wide. The shorter breast figure is 2.7 inches wide and 2.7 inches tall. Each figurine is individually hand made, imperfections are to be expected and no two sculptures are alike and can never be reproduced to the exact same effect. They are one of a kind and unique.
