This is a rare hand made, hand hammered, American brass kettle. It dates to 1910's or earlier. The kettle is 8" in diameter. The stand and kettle together stand 16". The handle is forged iron.

This belongs to a blacksmith friend and he made the stand. Both items are in original condition. There are no holes in the kettle. It has a dent and patina consistent with it's age and of an item that was used frequently.

This kettle was purchased at an estate auction 30 years ago in Madison, VA. My friend tells me that when he purchased it, he thought it had a makers mark on it, but we have been unable to find it.

These are heavy and an awkward shape. I will ship by the most economical way possible. Any excess shipping paid over $5.00 will be refunded.

We ship within two day of receiving payment.

We sell vintage or antique items. Your understanding of the condition and imperfections of these types of items is appreciated. We do our best to point out any flaws or evidence of wear an item may have. Many times, that evidence of wear is the deciding factor in the authenticity of an item and therefore, we sell items in their original condition, leaving any alterations to the new owner.
