Spun with lots of love just for you in the fenlands of Eugene, Oregon!

These lustrous Lincoln Longwool locks are 4-7 inches long and come from a local Oregon farm. I hand dyed them in a soft pastel shade of teal using professional quality, low impact and non-toxic acid dyes, then corespun them around a mohair-Merino wool blend yarn, leaving the gorgeous tips free.

You can use this as a show-stopping embellishment in a project, or wear it just as it is, including the recycled silk sari ribbons it comes tied with. It makes a stunning fiber art necklace/eternity scarf that will get you lots of compliments! The last photo shows me wearing it as a necklace scarf. The locks feel soft against your neck and not at all scratchy or prickly, so it could easily be worn year round.

My camera made this look more vividly green than it actually is in the last two shots; the color is a soft blue-green teal, subtle and transparent so that the beauty of the locks shines through!
