Benicia Catrina
8 1/2 inches tall, seated

Benicia Catrina's hand-sculpted head is made of wood and paper clay, with inset wooden eyes that seem to follow you around the room. All the details are entirely painted (not drawn with pens or pencils) using acrylic paint and tiny paintbrushes. Her body is made of quilter’s muslin that has been painted and sanded, then painted and sanded again, giving the fabric a rich patina that feels like old leather. Her arms and legs are button jointed, allowing her to be posed.

Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands. Individually sewn, sculpted, and painted, Benicia Catrina is a one-of-a-kind piece. She is signed and dated by us, Dylan and Jo.

The last picture is of Benicia with sisters, but this listing is for Benicia only.

We ship same or next business day with FREE Priority shipping within the US.
