Couroc of Monterey serving ware has become quite popular and collectible. Each of these plates is 6 inches by 7 inches and has a beautifully inlaid quail on the front. The original foil label is on the back. The black surfaces of these plates are not as shiny as I am used to seeing on Couroc pieces but the surface is smooth and consistent. You might be able to polish them if you want them shinier. I kind of like the matte surface on this shape of plate/tray - it works. One of the plates has a spot on it - see the last photo. It doesn't look like damage. Instead, it looks like a random piece of inlay. It's hard to tell. The inlay areas themselves are in really good shape. Overall they are in great vintage condition.
