This is one of the most fantastic hats I have seen from this era. It took my breath away when I first saw it. Deaccession from an East coast museum, this hat dates from 1910-1915. Fabulous combination of black embroidered net and amazing ribbon and lame flowers on both sides. Satin creme ribbon surrounds the rim. Construction is very fine and the condition is very good. Small holes on top of hat but nothing that detracts. Lining has some issues but again nothing that detracts or shows. This is a magnificent piece for a collector. Feel free to inquire for more photos is you are seriously considering. Measures 19"x 4". This hat was recently featured on an episode of Dukes of Melrose. It was in the background of the auction featured in PA. Originally $495.
