Behemoth is an enormous black tom cat in Mikhail Bulgakov's Master and Margarita. Behemoth enjoys hand guns and cheating at chess. A richly nuanced brown, with undertones of gold, orange, red, green, and teal.

A third visitor sprawled insolently on the padded ottoman that had once belonged to the jeweler's lady - namely, a block tom of terrifying proportions with a glass of vodka in one paw and a fork in the other with which he had already managed to impale a pickled mushroom.

-Mikhail Bulgakov, The Master and Margarita (published 1967)

Base: Charybdis Sock (Light Fingering)
Content: 75% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Gold Stellina
Yardage: Approximately 430 yards / 393 meters per 100 gram skein

Charybdis is a wonderfully soft superwash merino sock yarn. This is a 2-ply yarn with a firm twist benefits from nylon for added strength and 5% gold stellina for subtle sparkle. Perfect for socks, gloves, shawls, and sweaters. Handwash recommended.

Dark Yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes. Please be aware that yarns are hand-dyed and appearance may vary somewhat from skein to skein. I do list skeins separately where there is considerable variation between skeins. Although I take care to photograph yarns accurately, please be aware that colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

This listing is for one skein of yarn.
