For 2 days I have been singing the song "El Paso" in my head and had no clue why. The song, El Paso, is about the depths one will sink when overwhelmed with love and passion. The object of the storyteller’s love is a girl named Felina, beautiful yet possessing a powerful darkness. This afternoon I noticed that I only heard this song while working on this piece of poplar. Please allow me to introduce Felina.

She is 17.75" tall and 11.75" wide. Made from poplar, hand carved design, walnut stain under crimson stain with black, yellow and orange acrylic latex accents. In the center, there is a polished .44 shell casing that depicts her wicked heart.
