It was May 20 and I was coming home from a book signing by Elizabeth Gilbert for her new book, Home on the Range. The sky was spectacular and I wanted to capture something
of interest. This was an easy decision since this was on my way home. I parked my van on the PA side of Washington Crossing Park and walked half way across the Delaware River bridge. This is the river that our first President, George Washington crossed on December 25, 1776 and won the Revolutionary War in Trenton, NJ. This week I watched, "Who do You Think You Are"? and Rob Lowe crossed this bridge coming from Trenton, NJ to go to Newtown, PA to find facts out about his 5th generation grandfather who was a Hessian during this war. This image has a great historic meaning to it that I have enjoyed mentioning here.
