This is a pair of three inch long, filigree, repurposed brass, upcycled copper and blue tagua nut earrings. The findings are made of cleaned repurposed copper from electrical wires. The "base" was a broken pair of old earrings that have been upcycled into these beauties!

The tagua nut is the fruit of the Phytelephas palm or the ivory palm. When dried, the tagua nut has similar properties to ivory, without the cruelty. These tagua "chips" were harvested and dyed environmentally and ethically.
