This vintage Knott's Berry Farm and Ghost Town souvenir and Steak House menu from 1958 is so retro cool! I mean, who wouldn't want to eat a steak in a ghost town? Hmmmmmm........

This menu meant to be stolen as a souvenir might help you remember a road trip when you were a kid traveling on I-5 and begging to stop at this fun tourist attraction in Buena Park, California---just before you arrived at Disneyland!

The best part of the souvenir is the illustration of the striking American Indian maiden on the front, but there's lots more good stuff inside this very sweet brochure that includes all the attractions of early Knott's, including the Ghost Town, the Preserving Kitchen, Marion and Toni's Dress Shop, free entertainment at the Wagon Camp, a little chapel and a church, the Indian Village, the Farm with stagecoach rides, and pictures of the vintage looking Knott family who ran the place.

The Steakhouse menu offered a char-broiled Filet Mignon for $4.50 that came with soup, green salad with their special dressing, homemade hot rolls and boysenberry jam, vegetable, and baked or french fried potatoes. Great 1950s steak and potato fare!

There is a map of vintage Southern California on the back (look how close it is to Disneyland!) and it is also mailable with "from" and "to" areas that are blank.

The booklet measures 8 1/2" by 5 1/4" with a stapled spine. It is printed on matte type paper and is in good condition with its colors still bright. There is a very small tear on the back of the menu about 1/4".

Knott's Berry Farm is still going strong, although of course now it includes a huge hotel and water parks, and to say the least, the prices have gone up. I prefer the quaint old place shown here in the 1960s......
