I have set a ¾” (18mm) round Australian Petrified Peanut Wood cabochon in a silver bezel, and mounted it on a hammered sterling silver band.
The stone is a real treasure in earthy tone of brown, mustard and off white,

The ring is size 7 and ready to be shipped.

Australian Petrified Peanut Wood is of several varieties, mainly Araucaria, approximately 70 million years old. The wood sank to the bottom, holes filled, and later petrified creating the interesting patterns seen on the stone.
The name comes from the lighter areas which resembling peanuts.
