This is a vintage Ising Isoflex Twin Lens Reflex Camera - made in Germany. She has seen better days and needs a facelift. Mechanically, she seems okay, but cosmetically, she needs some work. The leatherette is coming loose and has fallen off in one spot on the face. She is fairly dusty and has age spots on some of the metal. This is a cast aluminum body camera, and is free of dents and dings, but there is some peeling paint on the inside, where the film is to be loaded, so that would have to be redone. This could be a nice real fixer-upper, or a sweet, old girl to rest on your shelf and look shabby.

This twin lens reflex has one lens for focus and viewing and one lens to take the photo. The viewfinder does not come with a hood, but it is fairly easy to see, unless you are in very bright sunlight, then you have to squint!

Cosmetics - Poor. Needs a cleaning, no dents or cracks. Leatherette needs work. A few age spots.
Lens - Looks ok, scratch free. Dusty.
Shutter - cocks and fires.

Made in Germany in the 1950's. Also called the Pucky I.

Where did this camera come from? I purchased this one and many others at auction from a collection from a photography store. They seemed to have been cleaned professionally at one point, but they have been sitting around for some time. I only clean the outside, leatherette and big grungy bits very gently. I do not wipe lenses, I simply dust them a bit with a soft brush. I never use compressed air to clean my cameras as that may damage them and just blows the dust around. I do not test any camera with film, but I do test their mechanics. Any small or significant issues are always disclosed.
