Someone certainly has a tale of woe to share with you on this vintage souvenir pillow. The title of the poem is "Life", and it reads as follows:
I have led a wild life,
And earned what I've spent
Paid all I've borrowed
And lost all I've lent,
I loved a woman and that came to an end,
Get a good dog, boys!
He will be your real friend.
Pictured on the 16" x 16" pillow is a dog smoking a pipe. The background color is a great faded yellow/gold, and the trim is gold, green and salmon. The back of the pillow is a pinkish/lavender. The pillow is from Nashville, as noted in the lower right corner, and there are several light stains and a small hole in the pillow cover. Please convo me if you have additional questions regarding the condition of this pillow and also note that this listing includes the cover and pillow insert.
