This vintage set is absolutley beautiful. The wood is so rich and the craftsmanship is superb. I'm not sure what it is, possibly teak or walnut. The company Articolo is in Italy and doesn't appear to make home decor anymore.

There are two metal inserts for the two challises, so these could actually be used as vases, if desired. There are a few places that the metal has flaked off inside. A dish could be added inside the bowl and use it as a vase centerpiece or serving piece. As you can see by the pictures, there is a crack along one side of the bowl and it goes all the way through. There is also a line of what looks like where there was an imperfection in the wood. The final character mark is on the base of one of the stemware where a small place has been chipped out.

The bowl is 5" tall and 29-1/2" in circumferance at widest area.
It is 4-1/2" in diameter at opening.

Each goblet is 8-3/4" tall and the metal insert is 4-1/4" tall.
They are 2-3/4" in diameter at opening.
