This utensil cuts potatoes into french fries, or chips, as it is called in England. Inscribed "The Villa Potato Chipper Made in England". It also lists Pat. No. 490250 and Reg. No. 819275.
It dates back to1937. The green handle is wood.
Measurements are about 9 1/2 inches, closed. With the handle up, it's about 7 inches long, but 10 1/4 inches high.
It has some rust beginning, but is in working condition.
