This serving bowl is wheelthrown in a speckled brown clay and glazed in turquoise and fog glazes. This glaze color is impossible to accurately describe but the closest is a grayish green that is blue-ish near the the rim. This glaze breaks beautifully on the rim so that the brown clay peaks through. The speckled brown stoneware clay affects the color as well. The photos are accurate with the colors but your monitor may affect the way the colors appear. It is a very earthy, gorgeous color!

Please click on all the photos to get a good idea of the colors. I also have other listings with this combo (I always specify which glaze I use so you can match pieces). This glaze can look very different in different lights so please look at many of the fog photos to get an accurate idea of the color.

This bowl is about 7 3/4 inches wide at the handles, 7 3/8 inches from front to back and is 3 inches tall. It makes a very nice serving bowl and looks fabulous with fresh peaches or red grapes in it! I kept one of these for myself and it always sits on the kitchen counter with ripening fruit in it.

Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln. Food and dishwasher safe.
