This top was created when a customer requested a special order. She was interested in using a gradient for the final purpose of knitting the Citron shawl. Further, she wanted to know if I could do our Bollywood Bash colorway as a gradient. Hmmm.....interesting concept. After we worked out the percentages of each color, it ultimately turned into a fibonacci formula.

This is the result. The top was dyed in the colors of lime, gold, orange and red using the fibonacci mathematical formula having lime the smallest amount and the deep vermillion red as the longest piece.

The fiber used is a dark and light blue face leicester wool and silk blended to a beautiful pewter base having 85%wool and 15% silk.

Very nice and soft and so easy to spin.
I can't wait to see the results of her project. Perhaps you can also come up with a suitable use of this interesting combination.

The last photo was sent to us by "misdameaner" (ravelry ID) showing this braid all spun up. So lovely.
