These are amazing! I managed to get a few pieces of Irish bog oak - oak that has been buried in a bog for 5000 years and knew that I needed to make some ogham sets out of them - this is actually the first set I've made in the last couple of years - my stash of bog oak got buried in a box when I moved half way across the country, and has only just re-surfaced!

The tablets are on average about an inch wide and have the ogham letter pyrographed into the wood - they are not perfectly square - which adds to their charm.

This is a spectacular set - rare and one of a kind - and the last set I have wood for in this style.

They will come with the booklet and a little drawstring pouch.

The ogham is a celtic alphabet/divination system, based on 20 native British trees. It is used in much the same way as runes, though less commonly used than runes.

The booklet has been put together by me and gives a basic guide to using the ogham and keywords for the meaning of each stave to help get you started.

These Ogham tablets will be sent to you via a signed for mail delivery service, thus the postage is higher than for some other items.
