I'm excited to have a couple of very special pieces from our spring salt fires to offer up to you..I picked some of my favorites to list here. I only do a handful of them each fire, so they are unique even for us!
I have a wonderful grouping of tree & landscape steins up for grabs, all really good sized. They came out exceptionally beautiful & I struggle to part with them, but must share the love! Yes, the price on these has changed- they are quite rare, exceptionally lovely and the price is finally reflecting that. Any one who knows salt glazed pottery and any collector of our work will recognize that these pieces are some of the loveliest salt can produce.

Number 3 is one of my favorites of this group. Heavily salted with great orange peel effects, the colors are deep, rich, warm and yet hazy. I think it's early morning, with the sun just starting to hit the landscape.
Decorated with a glowing, sunny to dusky green landscape, with groves of birch trees on both sides of the handle, and overhanging deep green branches & leaves. There are a variety of sunny flowers in the foreground and in the background, dark snow capped mountains with awesome crackled effects which you'll also find in the trees. There are two wayward drops of the liner glaze in the sky which look like two moons....well, it is a fantasy landscape afterall..... Hazy, dreamy, rich & lovely.
Liner glazed in creamy milky white-yellow. Bottom is chattered ,has a handy-dandy thumb rest ....

I have a wonderful companion stein to this one in the shop - #4 plus a couple others worth checking out.
6.25" tall x 5.5" wide
Should hold 24+ oz
Dishwasher, food & microwave safe as always.
Handmade by Winchester Pottery & signed on bottom. The 4 white dots are from wadding, and indicative of salt fired work
