Ahhh. First new item in a while, I just got settled into my new place, which is a funky old house from the 20's here in NE Ptown, and this is the best spot I could find to do a photo shoot of some new racks without causing a major disruption. Eventually I would like to build a portable wall that I could take outside, but for now, this will have to do.
This is my classic design that I have been utilizing, 16" wide, 4 and 3/4 high, and the shelf is 12 deep. The slots for the top tube are 1 and 3/4, set 9.5 on center away from the wall. I have two "upcycled'(I cut them out of a mountain bike wheel that I destroyed) spoke gear hooks installed on the back rail, there is room for one on each side rail, if you want.
Sealed with oil based polyurethane and mounts with two screws on a 16" center layout.
Myrtle is an extremely dense deciduous conifer tree that grows in Southern Oregon and Nor Cal.
