This lovely bowl was fired to cone 10 in the wood section of a two-chambered wood and salt kiln. The ochre celadon liner reacted with the atmosphere of the kiln to produce beautiful colors, as well as small crystals within the glaze. The clay body flashed bright orange, red, and yellow and provides a nice contrast to the pale celadon glaze on the exterior of the piece.

This bowl is 2 3/4" tall, about 5" in diameter, and has a 3 1/4" wide foot ring. It will hold 2 1/2 cups.

The glazes I use are non toxic and the pots themselves are water tight, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.
