Okay, caveat emptor: I have no idea what this is. I suppose that was clear, anyway, from the item title. I did my best to search under any and every combinations of words for anything I had the remotest inkling that it might be, and could find nothing that even closely resembled it. Perhaps if I throw enough words out there someone will recognize it and enlighten me.

For all I know the last option in the title could be the closest. That's what is certainly resembles, anyway.

It's a cool old noise-making horn thingummy of some sort, seemingly not intended to be played by a live humanoid, as it has a flat mounting bracket on the back. That said, it still has the metal reed inside the 'mouthpiece' and makes a satisfyingly loud blat when you blow on it. Weighs just shy of two pounds. 100% copper.

Dimensions: 11" tall; 6.5" front-to-back from the bell to the mounting plate (or 10" to the end of the 'mouthpiece'); the bell is 6" wide and 8" tall; and the entire things is 14" in its longest dimension, if you measure diagonally. No cracks or breaks anywhere along its metal loop-de-loops of tubing. Very solid construction. A few dings on the outer curves (see last photo) where you can imagine someone tried to whack it into silence.

Adorn your steampunk artcar for Burning Man or just annoy your neighbors. Let me know how it goes.

So there you have it. I never try to sell a false bill of goods. Don't know what it is; don't know what it's worth. Thought it was cool, so I picked it up. Maybe I got burned; maybe you'll be getting the steal of the day. You makes your choices and you takes your chances.
