Motorola Golden Voice Tube Radio, circa 1950s.
Classy little number, looks quite sharp. Yep.

Also known as a beach radio, that great lookin' handle doubles as an antenna. The "Roto-Tenna" rotates, in order to dial in the best reception.

The radio originally operated with either batteries or a power cord. Alas, the two types of batteries required are no longer available (one 90 V "B" Battery and one 7 1/2 V "A" Battery). And, alas times two, the power cord for this unit is missing in action.

Does it work or not, hard to say. It's untested and being sold "as is". It's charm now lies in looking utterly cool and stylish on your shelf. Perhaps as a bookend?
